WARRANTY
Your satisfaction is our priority, and each Garfett watch comes with a comprehensive 6-month warranty. The warranty covers manufacturing defects due to faulty material or workmanship only on the watch components itself (movement, case, bracelet or strap, hands and indexes) under normal condition of use. Other components or areas not included in the above will not be covered by this warranty.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR TIME AND DATE
Setting the time and date on a watch equipped with the NH35 movement involves a straightforward process. Follow these step-by-step instructions:
Setting the Time:
- Locate the Crown: The crown is the small knob on the side of the watch. It may have different positions—typically, there are two or three positions.
- Unscrew the Crown (if necessary): If the crown is a screw-down type, gently unscrew it by turning it counterclockwise until it is free to move.
- Pull the Crown to the Second Position: Carefully pull the crown out to the second position. In this position, you can adjust the time.
- Rotate the Crown: Turn the crown clockwise to set the hands to the correct time. Pay attention to whether the time is set for AM or PM.
- Push the Crown Back In: Once the correct time is set, gently push the crown back to its original position. If the crown is a screw-down type, ensure it is securely tightened.
Setting the Date:
- Locate the Crown: If you haven't already, find the crown and unscrew it (if applicable).
- Pull the Crown to the First Position: Pull the crown out to the first position. In this position, you can adjust the date.
- Rotate the Crown: Turn the crown counterclockwise to advance the date. Continue turning until the correct date is displayed.
- Push the Crown Back In: Gently push the crown back to its original position. Ensure it is securely in place, especially if it is a screw-down crown.
HOW CAN I ADJUST THE STRAP?
To adjust the strap of your watch, use the provided small screwdriver that comes with the watch. This allows you to easily make adjustments yourself, eliminating the need to visit a watchmaker.
IS THE WATCH WATERPROOF?
Yes and quite no, the watch is waterproof, but it's not recommended to submerge it in water. It's safer to protect it from water, including rain, and avoid washing it with water excessively.
